In town for a couple of days. Lots of food choices on Lakeshore but glad we picked this spot. Food was fresh. Service was prompt. Establishment was pleasant. Costs were about as expected.
Took my Queen here and the portions were big and the food was good! It was a lot to eat. The prices weren't too bad either. What I really noticed and appreciated; we had a professional server and her timing was impeccable. So many servers need to go learn from her. She didn't mess around. All business but also courteous and had upstanding etiquette. I can't say enough about the service alone! It was my first time there but I will definitely go again!
Loved the sashimi here, very fresh and cut perfectly. The salmon melted in my mouth, and the scallops were sweet and tender. I wish they had given a bit more variety on the platter. The staff was polite but not super attentive. The place had a sleek, modern vibe, good for a nice dinner out.

This little gem!!! Ok the ambiance! It's fabulous except the tables feel so close together, but other than that, fabulous! The lights above the sushi bar and register are amazing! I'm honestly going to replicate them and put them in my island in my kitchen. Natural and beautiful. Loved looking at them from my table. Our waitress was great! Even thru her English, she was helpful and informative. Service was fast enough for as busy as they were. Our food: we love sushi, just not fish lol. My husband has ONLY had sweet potato tempura sushi. He loves it but sometimes it's hard to find. We had some last week that wasn't the best, at a different restaurant. This was amazing and I have never seen tempura chicken sushi but they had it with avocado in it! Fabulous for 2 non fish eating sushi lovers! lol The fried rice tasted like it came off the hibachi!!! Other than personally liking it a little more cooked/crunchy it was delicious. Missed the egg, my favorite part, but just a little. AND what stole the whole show was their house made Yum Yum sauce! My husband doesn't like mayo or anything mayo based! Even he liked this. It has seasonings I've never seen in Yum Yum. We had to have more, so we bought a qt! THAT GOOD!!! The crème brûlée - it's a Japanese restaurant! Lol The crème was good flavor and smooth. The brûlée was gritty crispy in the middle but I think they may have used brown sugar and it was runny and gritty all around. I wouldn't order again and that is my FAV dessert! We leave tomorrow, but if I'm ever back in B'ham, we will be back!!! Best meal all week! Thank you!!!

I visited twice while in Birmingham; the food and service were excellent! Both times, I ordered a Sushi/Sashimi deluxe dinner. What a great find!
First time visiting this restaurant. We were a group of 8. Our server was great. The menu had a variety of choices with great prices. My spider roll and ginger salad were delicious! Food came out hot and fast!
